Mother’s Day Showcase: Day 1

With Mother’s Day coming up, it’s time to start thinking about a card for your mom – and nothing beats handmade. 🙂 Come back tomorrow for another idea.

This is a new color combination for me but I love the unexpected coordination. The outside of the card displays butterflies with two layers – solid card stock and stamped image – to give some depth. Each is accented with basic pearls. For the inside of the card, stamp the small butterfly, cut it out, and use two glue dots (one on each wing) to give just enough dimension for interest.

Just a reminder – you can still get retiring stamp sets until May 31 and accessories while supplies last. Contact me for details, and review the lists on the “Promotions” page.
