MOJO Monday 242

And, for the second post of the day – here’s the Mojo Monday sketch:

Here’s what I created with it:

I can always find inspiration in some ice cream! This is something I’ve been wanting to show you, and when I saw the Mojo Monday sketch today, it fit perfectly!

This card is full of color and uses Summer Smooches (available June 1) to bring in some pattern. Although you can’t see it in this picture, each ice cream scoop is made of textured card stock (retiring) to give subtle interest. Create the scoops by punching the icing from the Cupcake Builder Punch. Punch an extra in brown and cut off the bottom freehand to make the hot fudge!

Remember I told you I’d be showing you how to use the Owl Builder Punch? Well, another punch I’ll be using over the next few weeks is the Petite Pennant Punch (coordinates with the Pennant Parade stamp set). The ice cream cone is punched with the Petite Pennant Punch and run through the Big Shot and Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

The button is from the Clearance Rack – click on the “Order” tab to purchase great discounted products!

Paper: Island Indigo, Old Olive (textured; retiring), Melon Mambo (textured; retiring), Tangerine Tango (textured; retiring), Tempting Turquoise (textured, retiring), Whisper White, Summer Smooches DSP, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip, Real Red

Punches: Cupcake Builder, Petite Pennant, Scallop Edge Border

Accessories: Sweet Stitches Big Designer Buttons (Clearance Rack), Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, White Baker’s Twine, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

I like your cleverness of using our punches for ice cream cones. I will be tuning in to see what you do with the owl punch and the pennant punch in the coming weeks. I like your card. Barb
