Minnie Mouse

I am going to be celebrating a very sweet little girl’s third birthday this weekend – Mackenzie. Like every other girl in the world, young or not-so-young, she loves Minnie Mouse. This is her birthday card:

My original idea did not start as this, but I think it ended up being really cute. (In case you’re wondering, that idea included smooth Melon Mambo card stock and a polka dot DSP.)

Anyway, her bow is made of two hearts adhered together and covered with a Basic Rhinestone. The white background is embossed (you may be able to see it better if you click on the picture to enlarge it) using VersaMark Ink, the Chevron Embossing Folder, and White Embossing Powder. I love how that adds a little bit of glam (to match the rhinestone) without more color.

Paper: Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Whisper White

Ink: VersaMark

Punches: 1 3/4″ Circle, 3/4″ Circle

Accessories: Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, Fashionable Hearts Embosslits, Chevron Embossing Folder, Scallop Dots Ribbon (Basic Black), White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Basic Rhinestones, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Sticky Strip Adhesive
